Vintage Army Souvenir Pillow Case Fringe TO MY WIFE Colorful Camp Roberts CA

$20.00

Super colorful vintage ARMY souvenir satin pillowcase with fringe. This pillow sham features a poem entitled TO MY WIFE & came from Camp Roberts, Calif. Pillow cover is made of yellow satin & is festooned with illustrations of an ANTI-AIRCRAFT GUN, BOMBER, TANK, MACHINE GUN, PARA-TROOPER & TANK DESTROYER. There is also a name at the bottom: Pvt. Maurice Gay. Back of pillowcase is yellow cotton (or a cotton blend, not sure) & this has pink fringe going around it. This measures 17"x 17" not counting 2" fringe and I don't think this has ever been used other than I briefly put it on a pillow to take pix, all colors & graphics are very bright and nice. I’m not sure of an exact date for this either, could be anywhere from the 1950s to the 1970s.
